One of Brisbane's local veterans, Sutherland returned for his eighth ABL season with the Brisbane Bandits during the 2017-18 ABL season.

David Sutherland - 2016-17 Brisbane Bandits

Brisbane veteran Sutherland returned to the Bandits during the 2016-17 ABL season, his seventh season in the ABL.

David Sutherland - 2015-16 Brisbane Bandits

Goofy played his sixth  season with the Brisbane Bandits during the 2015-16 ABL season. Apparently he retired at the end of the 2014-15 season, but was convinced to come out of retirement a day later by Bandits manager Dave Nilsson. Fortunately, that decision meant he was able to participate in the Bandits' first ever ABL championship.

Brisbane local "Goofy" continued on as a mainstay for the Brisbane Bandits club in 2014-15, bringing up his 200th ABL game towards the season's end.

David Sutherland - 2010-11 Brisbane Bandits

Although I didn't ever get these printed up, I had made several designs for David Sutherland from the inaugural ABL season. Sutherland is a Brisbane native who spent 5 seasons playing Rookie and A level ball for the LA Dodgers. He has played for the Bandits in both ABL seasons so far. This 6'6" tall infielder is affectionately known as "Goofy".
