Sydney born Hoschke is an Australian youngster who played with the Adelaide Bite during the 2016-17 ABL season., Hoschke has played in three ABL seasons so far, his rookie year with Brisbane and the following two with Adelaide. He also spent 2014 playing for the Atlanta Braves Rookie level team in the Gulf Coast League.

Garrett is an an American import from the Miami Marlins organisation who played with the Sydney Blue Sox during the 2016-17 ABL season. Garrett spent 2016 playing for the marlins Rookie and A level affiliates before advancing to the Advanced A level Jupiter Hammerheads in 2017.

Warwick Saupold - 2016-17 Perth Heat

Saupold, Australia's most recent MLB debutant in 2016 is currently enjoying his time with the Detroit Tigers, however he did play with his hometown Perth Heat during the 2016-17 ABL season, his seventh season with the Heat.

Matthew (Keli'i) Zablan - 2016-17 Melbourne Aces

Zablan is an American import who played with the Melbourne Aces during the 2016-17 ABL season. This was Zablan's second season with the Aces, having also played six games with them during 2015-16. The ABL website lists Zablan's first name as Matthew, however it appears that he is generally known by the first name of Keli'i. Zablan spent a single season in the Seattle Mariner's farm system in 2011, but has otherwise spent his time playing independent ball in the Frontier League for the River City Rascals until late 2013 when he moved to Australia to take up coaching in Geelong.

DJ Davis - 2016-17 Canberra Cavalry

Davis is an American import from the Toronto Blue jays organisation who played with the Canberra cavalry during the 2016-17 ABL season. Davis has spent 2016 and 2017 playing with the Dunedin Blue Jays , Toronto's Advanced A affiliate in the Florida State league.
