Daniel McGrath - 2017-18 Melbourne Aces

Local player McGrath returned for his fifth season with the Melbourne Aces during the 2017-18 ABL season. McGrath has been playing in the Boston Red Sox farm system in the northern summers, spending 2017 with the Advanced A level Salem Red Sox and 2018 with the Double A level Portland Sea Dogs.

Daniel McGrath - 2016-17 Melbourne Aces

After playing in the first three seasons of the new ABL with the Melbourne Aces McGrath signed with the Boston Red Sox after which he ceased play in the ABL following the 2012-13 season. He  focused on his American play, reaching the Advanced A level Salem Red Sox in 2016. Obviously something happened discussion wise as McGrath was able to join Melbourne for the 2016-17 ABL season before heading back to Salem in 2017.

Daniel McGrath - 2012-13 Melbourne Aces

Having signed with the Boston Red Sox in 2012, Melbourne 18 year old McGrath returned to the Melbourne Aces for his third ABL season in 2012-13, having made his ABL debut at age 16.

Not the best of photos with McGrath's eyes obscured, but I liked the double pair of sunglasses on the cap, and the chance to produce a card of one of the Melbourne youngsters.
