Josh Davies - 2014-15 Melbourne Aces
Davies returned for his fifth ABL season with the Aces in 2014-15. Last season was his best productively with the bat since the insugural ABL season back in 2010-11.

Aaron Sloan - 2014-15 Canberra Cavalry
Aaron, the younger of Canberra's Sloan brothers, returned for his third ABL season with the Cavalry in 2014-15, however he only managed four games across the season. I didn't think I had managed to capture any photos of Aaron until I spied him in the background of this shot of another player. So, as my old motto goes - a bad photo is better than no photo :)

Masaki Takashio (高塩正樹) - 2014-15 Brisbane Bandits
Brisbane has continued its tradition of signing independent Japanese ball players, with Japanese import Masaki Takashio playing with the Bandits during the 2014-15 ABl season. In 2014, Takashio was playing for the Toyama Thunderbirds in the Japanese independent Baseball Challenge League. In 2015 he has moved to one of the BC League's two new expansion teams, the Fukushima Hopes.

Josh Matavesi - 2014-15 Perth Heat
Former Canberra Cavalry player Matavesi hadn't played for the Cavalry since the 2012-13 season, but was quoted in the Canberran press in mid-2014 as getting ready to try and rejoin their roster for the 2014-15 season. It was a bit of a surprise then to see Matavesi's name pop up on the roster for Western Australia for the National Under 25s Championships played in September/October of 2014.
During the 2014-15 ABL season., Matavesi arrived with the Perth Heat players when they played Canberra, and otherwise seemed to be a part of the Heat team. I don't know what his status with the team is, but it appeared, and I'm assuming, that he's a part of the Heat development squad, as he didn't officially appear on their roster through the season or actually play a game with them. From the conversations I overheard in the Heat dugout, he certainly didn't appear to have any love of the Cavalry team, and seems to be a part of the Heat environment.

Tristan Crawford - 2014-15 Canberra Cavalry
Crawford made a return to the Canberra Cavalry for the 2014-15 ABL season after spending the previous season with his hometown Brisbane Bandits. He had previously made his ABL debut with the Cavalry back in 2011-12, so it's been a lot of to- and fro-ing between Brisbane and Canberra for Tristan.
He was obviously happy enough for a hi-five in this shot.
Crawford also seemed just as happy in this pre-season shot I took of him as well.

He spent 2014 with the Advanced A level High Desert Maveriscks in the California League, and has started 2015 with the Bakersfield Blaze in the same league due to a realignment of the teams affiliations.

Brian Baker - 2014-15 Perth Heat
American import Baker returned fro a second season with the Perth Heat during the 2014-15 ABL season. He spent the intervening time in 2014 playing with the Southern Marylan Blue Crabs in the independent Atlantic League and stints with both Vaqueros Laguna and Broncos de Reynosa in the Triple A level Mexican League.
It was a poor shot of Baker in the dugout, but the best I could get.

Jason Sloan - 2014-15 Canberra Cavalry
The older of Canbera's Sloan brothers benefitted from greater game time with the Cavalry during the 2014-15 ABL season, however it appeared to come at the expense of his brother Aaron who saw a commensurate drop in his playing time. The 2014-15 season was Jason's third in the ABL
