Godbold is an Aussie rookie who made his ABL debut with the Melbourne Aces during the 2014-15 ABL season. I believe Godbold is originally from either NSW (was originally playing in the NSW state league) or the ACT (represented the ACT as a junior) , but have been unable to confirm exactly where.

Godbold was a workhorse pitcher for the Penrith Panthers in the NSW State League and he is from the local area. NSW players of high quality but unable to get a roster spot on the age-based teams often end up representing the ACT.
